Jalapao
Carolina -
played the game hard way too early. We didn't see so
much of that but got that secondary reason of her
being too bossy and unbearable to live with. Was she
perhaps unbearable because she was strategizing way
too much? In a season of good, likeable people, it
seems the schemers are going to be the first ones to
go.
Joe
- while he had no confessional time, we did hear
from him time to time. The scene that stood out most
to us is how he compared Carolina and Sandy a
practically the same. He was methodic in his
thinking and didn't seem as hotheaded as others. I
think we'll be seeing Joe for a lot longer if he
keeps this level headed gameplay in tact.
JT -
we're not quite getting that farmer, southern
charm type of vibe from him. We have already
established that he is a hard worker, but aside from
that, the only other scene we saw of him was him
getting very heated when he heard Carolina wanting
to work on a particular aspect around camp that did
not align with his own plans. He probably won' t do
well in the social aspect of this game, and he seems
too different than anyone else in the tribe (and
even on the other side as well).
Sandy - she is clearly playing the crazy lady
card and it seems to be working for her. I don't
think she'll continue to integrate well with the
tribe with some of her actions. I think they will
either use her as a vote but there's no way they
will let an easy vote ride all the way to the end.
She'll be there purely for our entertainment but not
for our Sole Survivor.
Spencer - he's coming across as the kid with a
brain. He doesn't want to simply go along with the
group just because that's what they want to do. He
seems like he's going to be a lot more mature for
his age and that will fit well with any group he
goes into. He seems pretty athletic but not to the
point where they will see him as a physical threat
anytime soon. He'll play a good social game and save
all the drama for the confessionals.
Stephen - we see him as the nerdy type, but the
guy obviously has a brain in playing the game. He
doesn't stand out as weak, but out of the men is
probably the one they would see getting rid of first
if it was based solely on physicality.
Sydney - sweet and kind, we saw that side of her
when she was talking about how she didn't want to
vote Sandy off, but had no one else to choose from.
We think she is in some alliance with at least
Spencer, who we have seen her talk to on several
occasions. If she can outperform Sandy, she should
be around for awhile longer.
Taj
- she tells it like it is, but when appropriate
and at the same time, doesn't get hated for it. We
saw that from her this week when she told Carolina
to check herself. We can't really see how Taj will
last much in the physical aspect of the game (they
showed her asking to slow down during the trek) but
it seems like she can warm up to a few key people
and that will be a good thing for her.
Timbira
Coach
- wow, he sure does remind us of Ace from
Survivor Gabon. He seems poised to have a fall just
because we haven't seen characters like him win the
game since Richard Hatch. Still, he should be
interesting in telling the story of Tocantins and he
could very well achieve what he wants, getting a
strong person to win and breaking the cycle of
survival of the weakest.
Brendan - we don't know much about him other
than Coach had a reason to try and forge an alliance
with him. Hopefully we'll get more information in
Episode 2.
Candace - we know nothing about her, that's not
a good thing at all.
Debra - we know nothing about her, that's not a
good thing at all.
Erinn - she's more lively than we expected and
seems like in a good position within her tribe on
all aspects. We expect to see Erinn in for the long
haul for that reason.
Jerry - we are getting a semi hero, good dad
edit from Jerry. We also know that he is fit but at
the same time, he is playing a good game by not
revealing what he does for a living. He seems like
the good guy you want to keep around just
because voting him out would make you feel guilty.
Sierra - she's out there to play the game, and
those people tend to get much further in the game
than others. Working on the tribe's camp allowed her
to get in the tribe's good graces and doing pretty
well at the immunity challenge also raised her
stock. Should her health get better, we see her
being able to wiggle her way into a voting block
that will keep her safe in the early stages of the
game. Hopefully, she can keep some of her snippy
comments to herself (for example, the way she said
she built the shelter for 8 people when they arrived
to camp did not sound welcoming at all). We'll be
surprised if she gets voted out before Sandy.
Tyson - he seems the strongest male on the
Timbira tribe. Not only that, but of all the scenes
they have given us, they show the one where he gets
nude in front of the tribe and is pretty much acting
goofy. I think sometimes when you are out there,
being a provider is not the most important thing.
Sometimes being the person that lifts everyones
spirits is just as important and we can see Tyson
doing that. |
