SURVIVOR ARCHIVE

TV Guide: Survivor Heroes vs Villains Preview
The full episode of the preview will air on Sunday, January 31. The show is hosted by last seasons's winner, Natalie White. Some of the highlights of the video: all challenges will be from previous incarnations of the show (with the exception of one, for a special reason), the Survivors are thrown right into a very physical challenge where Sugar ends up topless, and among some of the people asked to come back to the show were Richard Hatch, Corinne Kaplan and Shane Powers. Despite his role as a huge villain the first time around, Johnny Fairplay was not asked to come back after his "quitting" on Fans vs Favorites.

Survivor
Heroes vs Villains
TOP 10 MOMENTS

We reflect on a very memorable Survivor season which brought back 20 of the greatest Survivors to have ever played the game. Let's take a look at some of the highlights of this season and you can vote for your favorite too!

What is your favorite Survivor Heroes vs Villains moment?

Coach breaks down
Sandra burns Russell's hat
James races with JT
Cirie voted out
The first reward challenge
Amanda and Danielle fight over the clue
Rob faints
Tyson switches his vote
Parvati plays two idols
JT gives Russell an idol

10. Coach breaks down after Tribal Council
Behind all the storytelling and meditating, we saw a different side of Coach this season. He was using his time out in Samoa to improve himself but Sandra made him doubt that he could.

9. Sandra burns Russell's hat
This was just an enjoyable scene and proves that Sandra belonged on the Villain tribe. It's been a real joy to see these two battle each other all the way until the very end of the game.

8. James proves he should stay by racing JT
An injured person should go home before anyone else right? Wrong. The Heroes weren't sure if James could continue on in the game so they had to do a little test of their own to see if he could carry his weight.

7. Cirie voted out of the game After this vote, it was evident the Heroes were starting to implode and that past performances would be a recurring theme to this season.

6. The first reward challenge: injuries and nudity included. Right out the gate, you have a dislocated shoulder, a broken toe, and topless finish to a reward challenge. That could have not unfolded for CBS any better.

5. Amanda and Danielle fight over the hidden immunity idol clue.
Left to their own devices, the girls have to figure out a "fair" way to decide who gets the clue. The only problem is, who is to say something is fair or not.

4. Rob faints in the middle of the woods.
This is another reminder that even the best of them can come crashing down just as hard. To top it off, it indicates that the game itself is tough and can even take the strongest ones down.

3. Tyson switches his vote and ends up getting voted out.
Even at the Reunion, Tyson was attempting to explain why he did what he did. But the problem was that it was a risk with no chance of benefit for Tyson.

2. Parvati plays two hidden immunity idols to protect her alliance.
Back in the day, hidden immunity idols were kept for oneself. However, Parvati had a good read on Amanda and ended up using both idols to protect her alliance.

1. JT hands over the hidden immunity idol to Russell.
This was jaw dropping and it hurt to watch it all unfold. On paper, it sounded like an excellent idea but obviously, it did not pan out the way it was expected to. Dumbest move? Not quite, but still dumb and our #1 pick for Most Memorable Moment of Survivor 20.
