Episode 03 Speculation
Episode 03 Title Analysis

"Flirtation and Frustration"
Flirtation - reference to Parvati's strategy to get in good with the guys.
Frustration - Cao Boi continues to offend his tribemates with his racially driven comments, driving the tribe crazy, especially Brad. This could also be frustration over the fact the racially divided tribes are no more.

Episode 03 CBS Web Clues

After sizing up her tribe, a giddy and flirtatious Parvati starts using the only strategy she knows: to manipulate the men and draw them into her web. Read above.

Jonathan quickly grows frustrated with Jessica when he tries to talk strategy with her.
He may want to get in on alliance with Jessica if it appears that Candice and Adam are hooked up already. Strategy talks sometimes points to Tribal Council.

Nate shocks everyone, including himself, when he scores big spear fishing and brings back enough food for the entire tribe.
Becomes the hero.

An unexpected twist shocks the survivors. Will newly formed alliances stay strong or will they crumble? It is likely the tribal merge that is the twist that is shocking. The Survivors will hold something in their hand, squeeze, and that will reveal the tribe they are on.

Interesting enough, 2/4 of the clues are talking about Raro, and on top of that, strategy talk may be necessary to facilitate when you could go to Tribal Council. Something to consider.

Tribal Division
It appears that the four tribes get whittled down to two (Aitu and Raro) based on these promo shots.

From left to right: (1) New Raro arriving to challenge (2) New Aitu arriving to challenge (3) Cecilia hugging Jessica and Sundra. They look like something is troubling them, perhaps Tribal Council is that night?

  New Aitu: 5 women, 4 men - 3 Raro/3 Puka/2 Aitu/1 Hiki

- Jonathan should be frustrated because he's trying to talk strategy with Jessica but she doesn't want to. Does this mean New Aitu goes to Tribal Council this episode?
- Just by looking at tribe composition, this tribe looks weaker. What they do have going for them is their age. Don't let age fool you, we've seen it happen before where the physically weaker looking tribe edges out the other.

  New Raro: 5 women, 4 men - 3 Hiki/2 Puka/2 Aitu/2 Raro

- Parvati pulls out all stops to flirt with Adam (while wearing her shirt that is covered in red and blue paint, so likely after the merges). Again, this is another sign that this tribe might go to Tribal Council.

Reward & Immunity Challenge: Hot Pursuit
Projected Position: Raro wins immunity?

It appears that the Survivors run the same "Hot Pursuit" challenge as did the Survivor 10 Palau castaways in Episode 3. The object of the challenge is to carry a preset amount of weight on your backpack and run, linked with your tribe, around and around a rope course until you 'tag' the other tribe out. If players cannot hold the weight, they must sit out and allocated the weight to another tribemember.

From the promos, we can see blue engaging with red, but the struggle makes us think that maybe the challenge isn't over, that it doesn't have the same rules as when they did the challenge in season 10. On paper, it appears the combined strength of Adam, Brad, JP and Nathan outpower Cao Boi, Jonathan, Ozzy and Yul - just solely based on size. The women on Raro also seem to have an edge over Aitu as well. We wouldn't be surprised to see the new Raro tribe take home this one.

New vidcaps from an online promo further supports our prediction of a Raro win, as the Raro women are celebrating while their men carry the weight in the challenge. Maybe Rebecca is not happy because she may think her friend Sundra will be targetted at Tribal Council. The Aitu tribe looks like they are dejected in the far right image.

Possible Exile Candidates
This week, it may depend on whether the exiled person gets to avoid Tribal Council. If it is just the traditional kind of exile, look for Yul, Nate/JP to get sent to exile. However, because this episode will be busy busy, there may not even be a person sent there. We are leaning toward that possibility.

Possible Boot Candidates
With the last two boots being men (the first time this has ever occurred on a Survivor), we have a gut feeling a lady is going home this week.
Sue her for the chickens, she still hasn't repaid what she cost the tribe. But even moreso, perhaps her wishy washy nature regarding alliances (when Jonathan discusses to her) makes her too untrustworthy to keep. She's the odd woman out of the tribe, being the only Hiki member to join Aitu. This could spell her doom but she will probably fly under the radar for awhile.
If he's the way he was before with Puka, you can expect lots of people, including Becky and Yul, to write his name down at Tribal Council. What he has going for him is this 'Rupert'/'Kathy' like edit.
