Matt Brighton“Are
you going to take the ship, Mr. Christian?”
“Are you going
to take the ship, Mr. Christian?”
“Mutiny?”
“Mutiny!”
- The Mutiny on the Bounty (1935)
And thus we have the title of this week’s episode –
“Mutiny”. It had to be done this season, with the
obvious influence of the history of the area and, hell,
even the logo this season looks like a scene right out
of that famed movie. Now it’s an interesting twist
and one that’s been tried before – but to no avail.
Remember
Survivor: Thailand? Of course, no one did it in
that season and we didn’t get to see how it would affect
the game, but with this week’s episode, it’s rumored
that two of them do actually “jump ship” to the other
tribe. How cool is that? Or will it go down
as one of the dumbest moves in the history of the show.
Regardless of the ramifications, it should prove for
interesting television which is what most of watch the
show for anyway.
We’re back to two challenges this week, one appears to
be a barrel roll and the other looks like it involves
another water challenge. Any why not? After
Guatemala, we were in need of some good scenery and what
better place than the Cook Islands. I won’t
speculate too much on the outcome as I have no idea who
will win, but let’s just say that Aitu is looking more
and more like Koror which would make Raro the new Ulong.
Eventually their numbers will dwindle (Raro)…unless they
get some fresh blood from Aitu tonight. Could it
happen? Will it happen? And will Jonathan
get sent back to Exile Island…again? Yep.
