SPECULATION |
| Episode 5:
For Cod's Sake |
Episode Title Analysis:
Well this certainly seems to hint us into the raw cod fish
that is involved in the reward.

CBS Teasers:
Winning a Reward challenge ends up being a raw deal for one
tribe.
One tribe
wins fish for a reward, which is probably why La Mina gets sick.
A couple of Survivors secretly bond when they selfishly share
one of the reward prizes and anger their tribemates.
This could
be anyone on the winning tribe, since it seems to be La Mina,
perhaps it's Nick and Austin, which leads to them getting sick.
- Two survivors fall ill, keeping them up all night and leaving
them drained right before the immunity challenge . Can these two
strong players pull through or will they bring their tribe down?
Nick and
Austin, as the preview shows us.
- It's a long afternoon for one tribe as chaos and confusion
hampers the decision of who to vote off. Will an alliance stick
together or fall apart?
I think
this is going to be Casaya, and the question is, will Courtney
get the axe this week?

 Reward
Challenge:
We have so
limited vidcaps of the reward challenge, but it appears that the
reward is raw fish, which it would make sense if the challenge
is the copy of the episode four Amazon Challenge of catching
fish and keeping what you catch. Based on the teasers, La Mina
wins and the raw fish lead to Austin and Nick getting sick later
on. |

 Exile
Island:
Aras states in a
confessional that he wants to go to Exile Island, which would
make sense if it's pre-reward and ends up going there. He's also
their strongest physical asset, so they might chose to send him.
Of course, La Mina could send Bruce again, or perhaps Shane
who's done better than they expected at the challenge. |

Immunity
Challenge:
The
challenge appears to be untying and taking skeletons out of coffins
in
order to win the challenge for your tribe. It looks like it might be
difficult, and somewhat similar to the second Immunity Challenge.
Since La Mina won that won, they likely could win this one as well.
Their chances of going on a streak are increased now that they have
food and the Austin/Nick thing seems to be a red herring. Not to
mention the TC clue seems to involve Casaya. In addition, the flood
seems to happen after the challenge. So, La Mina wins and Casaya
returns to Tribal Council, for their second time. |

Possible Boot
Candidates:
Courtney has been getting a lot of negative remarks from
tribemates
lately, and her fiasco with Bruce certainly wont help her out.
Bobby is also in great danger, as we saw last week, he is lazy
and causes some problems within the tribe. If Danielle has her
way he could easily go home, he's not in the main foursome
anyways. Shane is in danger, simply because he's wacko and
Danielle might hold a grudge about their fight. We cant rule out
Cirie. It seems likely that she'll be fine, but we'll mention
her, to be on the safe side. |
