Episode Title Analysis:
As shown in the previews, Shane has a breakdown during the game.
|
CBS Teasers:
When
four tribes become two, the last survivor fears the worst, but
then is surprised when Jeff reveals a twist in the game.
The last person is expecting to go to
Exile Island, however, it may just be the twist that allows the
last person to pick which tribe he or she would like to be in
(done in Vanuatu where Lisa picked her tribe).
One Survivor makes a major mistake and leaves the tribe
disappointed, hungry, and still desperately trying to get food.
The losers of the reward challenge?
As the Survivors get to know each other they waste no time
forming alliances, leaving two feeling vulnerable and two in a
position of power.
?
One Survivor struggles to adjust to life on the island. Will he
overcome the pressure or choose to leave the island forever?
Has
Shane written all over it.

Tribal Division:
Part 2 |
It looks like the tribe
return to Exile Island in order to be separated into new tribes. We
can see that they will be stepping on disks, much like in Marquesas.
However, it appears that the tribes will be picked instead of
randomly chosen, alternating genders of course. Apparently, Bruce
and
Bobby are the first to choose.
By analyzing these
vidcaps, it's been determined who is on which tribe. We have the
majority of the new Casaya in a mudpit, which includes Cirie, Shane,
Bobby, Aras and Melinda. We also know that Courtney is a part of
that tribe due to Courtney's intro pic. We also see Danielle
standing with
Melinda and Aras, which places her on Casaya as well. We can see
pretty much all of La Mina, on the bridges. Austin, Ruth Marie,
Sally, Dan, Misty, Nick and Terry are all accounted for. Austin,
Misty and
Nick standing next to eachother further confirms their place on La
Mina. Bruce is the only one unaccounted for, which seems to point to
him sitting out the challenge. However, there appear to be
eight orange disks and only seven purple ones, thus leaving Bruce on
La Mina. |

Reward
Challenge:
With a lot
of different vidcaps, it's very hard to tell what's going on in
the Reward Challenge. It appears as though they begin the
obstacle course by running, which leads them to their next part.
It's unclear which section comes after which, but the challenge
encompasses walking over a bridge, sliding down a tarp, climbing
up something over a mud pit, running and diving under a wooden
structure, lifting up a tribemate to retrieve something,
carrying wooden snakes, and going into a mud pit. It's
complicated to tell what's going on, but luckily, Nick has
revealed
a flowered blanket to us in the promos, which seem to indicate a
La Mina victory, which makes logical sense about who is exiled,
and blankets are a very likely reward at this stage of the game.
|
Exile Island:
Since
it appears that La Mina wins reward, someone on Casaya has to be
exiled. Courtney's depressed picture could be on Exile Island,
but it's more likely to be right after the Immunity Challenge,
since her hair is wet. However, Courtney could easily be exiled
by her new tribe. Shane is also a possibility for the exile. His
"this place breeds bad luck" could definitely have been
referring to Exile Island. Melinda is another possible choice,
probably not as likely as one of the others though.

Immunity
Challenge:
The Immunity
Challenge is definitely an underwater challenge. We see Terry
pulling a chest along a rope using a metal clip. This appears to
be the "zombie rescue" Immunity Challenge advertised on TV
Guide. The zombies are probably in the chests, which must be
opened and possibly assembled on land. Couple Terry's
performance, the overall better athleticism of La Mina,
Courtney's dejected shots and the 'Shane wants to quit'
storyline, and it only makes sense that La Mina wins and Casaya
has to go to Tribal Council. Even with little to analyze, it
seems pretty concrete that La Mina has both challenges in the
bag this week.

Possible Boot
Candidates:
Melinda and
Bobby are the only supposed pre-merge boots on La Mina.
Melinda is certainly a liability to her tribe, and had enough
airtime in the first episode to get the boot already. Bobby, not
so much, but his cocky attitude could easily piss some of the
girls off enough to boot him. Shane's edit may be a red herring.
If La Mina happens to lose, Austin and Cirie are most probable
boots. Austin due to his high face time in the promos this week,
and Cirie for simply being the least athletic though her story
is just getting started. Misty is another alternative, just due
to her lie about the idol. If someone found out, she would be
taken out immediately . |
