Synopsis: Survivor Guatemala begins with both tribes learning that former players Bobby Jon and Stephenie will be returning to the game. Things quickly move forward from there as they are sent out on a grueling 11-mile trek to their respective camps. The Nakum tribe falls ill to the Guatemalan jungle and their bad luck continues as they lose the first immunity challenge and vote Jim out.

Episode 02: Man Down

Morgan McDevitt was voted out.

Synopsis: After suffering a rough start, Nakum gets their act together winning both the reward challenge for fishing gear and the immunity challenge. Danni also reveals to some others about Gary's past in the NFL, raising suspicion. Faced with staying united or fracturing the tribe, everyone agrees that Morgan's poor work ethic is enough to vote her out over possible asset, Lydia.

Episode 03: The Brave Do Not Live Long, but the Cautious Do Not Live at All

Synopsis: Yaxha has lost momentum in the game, losing both reward and immunity this episode. During the immunity challenge, Stephenie orders a pick from Brianna and Lydia, but the two women did not know what to do. This cost the tribe immunity but the tribe could not overlook how Brianna did not even attempt to move in the challenge and continued to vote out their weakest member.

Episode 04: To Betray or Not to Betray

Brooke Struck was voted out.

Synopsis: The tribes entered what looked to be a new twist on your typical auction, but soon after, they realize they are in completely shuffled tribes, the formation of them are all of their doing. Judd, in with new company, decides to turn on his original tribe members, who he has not felt any kind of connection with the first 11 days. In the end it was Brooke who was voted out of the New Nakum tribe.

Episode 05: Crocs, Cowboys and City Slickers

Synopsis: The reward challenge caused another agonizing loss for Nakum but things shape up for them after winning immunity. In what looked like to be a predictable vote, two members of the original Nakum tribe, Bobby Jon and Danni had a hand in voting out Blake. Blake was starting to fracture the tribe with his stories and at times annoying personality around camp.

Episode 06: Big Ball, Big Mouth, Big Trouble

Synopsis: In another turn of events, both tribes are informed that they will be going to Tribal Council. The challenge rewards one tribe with food, and the right to compete for individual immunity. Furthermore, that person, which turns out to be Rafe, gets to sit in on the opposing tribe's Tribal Council. In the end, the people on the 'outs', Margaret and Brian, were voted off each respective tribe.
