Episode Title Analysis: The Brains Behind Everything

Someone is going to emerge as very smart over how things will play out for the remainder of the game. So far, we have seen Marcus and Randy fit this title, but we very well may see a new leader emerge.

According to the recently released preview, it looks like Ken is the focus of the episode title.

CBS Clues

#1 - At a hard-fought reward challenge, conflict threatens to cause an upset at the last minute. We see that Matty and Randy get into it at the reward challenge.

#2 - One hot-headed castaway's assertiveness causes a rift in the newly re-formed tribe. Randy is probably the only one left in the game to exert a hot-headed demeanor.

#3 - The members of one powerful alliance find themselves short one member and scrambling to recover from the loss. Corinne, Charlie and Randy have lost Susie to Fang.

Reward Challenge - Fang

            

The tribes must work together to use an apparatus to launch golf balls into predetermined holes. Matty and Randy get in an argument over how it should be done. We see that Sugar and Charlie is involved so maybe Corinne sits out?

            

Corinne and Charlie react to the boot of their Onion Alliance leader, Marcus. With the promo showing images of a tribal/cultural dance, we believe this is the reward--to sit in a festive, cultural celebration, complete with food and drink. The photo below makes it very evident that Fang wins reward and goes on the getaway.

The Merge

As shown in the image above, Kota and Fang are now one tribe with blue buffs.

Exile - Bob

At the announcement of the the immunity challenge, we see Bob far off from the rest of his tribe imply that he just walked in from Exile. Also, we can make out some small bags behind him.

Immunity Challenge - Matty

We have no one to offer as a guess except for Matty since he is most all around.

Boot Prediction - Corinne

Seems like we have two factions fighting for power. We have one group that comprises of old Kota, and one of new Kota. Sugar will be seen as  the swing vote, but we presume after the Ace betrayal she doesn't want to make any rash decisions. With the way the original Fang tribe has been edited, we think that an original Kota will go home.

The scenario we are playing out in our head is that remaining Fang + Sugar will band against Corinne, Charlie and Randy. Of the editing, we see much regret on Corinne's behalf about voting Dan out instead of Susie. Not sticking to your guns is probably the result of her untimely exit from the game. Add to the fact that Sugar and Susie don't jive with her well (and we have to admit, Fang + Sugar should have no reason to dislike Bob at this point) and we see the Onion alliance dwindling a bit more.
