Episode 8 Prediction
The Apple in the Garden
of Eden
Episode Title Analysis: The Apple in the Garden
of Eden
There
has been a lot of mention of temptation being a
theme around this episode. We know that there
will be an opportunity for people to enjoy a
feast or compete for immunity once again.
CBS Clues
#1 - The tribes come together for a
surfside feast with a tempting twist.
#2 - The
castaways decide to make a shocking sacrifice
that many regret.
Could
it be choosing of a camp? Could it be who was
voted out of the game. It may also be opening
the box, ending the feast a lot sooner than they
had wanted--and with bad news inside.
#3 - One
castaway takes the game into his own hands and
lets the power go to his head. The preview
has hinted that Randy is this person.
Tribal Swap Part II
Looks
like the tribes don't actually merge but are
swapped again!
The
challenge looks to test the Survivor's physical
strength by holding two apparatuses longer than
the opposing tribe. Upon further review, because
the Survivors are not holding the apparatus with
a grip, it could be as simple as balancing
something.
Marcus
and Bob should be the MVPs for Kota, and Matty and Randy should hold up for Fang.
We are leaning towards a Kota win seeing as
though Marcus has never lost anything yet and it
seems like he will be really focused to make
sure Kota continues to bring home victories
regardless of who is on the tribe.
Boot Prediction - Sugar... Matty?
With a
Kota victory, we set our sights on the Fang
tribe. Based on Jeff's preview of Episode 8
(courtesy of SurvivorFever.net), it looks like
the idol is going to play a part--backing up our
prediction of a Fang Tribal Council.
"There's
also one of the most interesting things that's
ever happened with an immunity idol happens in
this episode and it will leave you scratching
your head much the same way you scratched your
head when Erik gave up immunity in last season's
Survivor, Fans Vs. Favorites. And a big
theme begins to emerge and this is one that's
going to carry out for the rest of the season
and it's good versus bad. There are some people
that decide, "you know what, we are good people
and one of us should win, they're bad people and
they shouldn't." That is a battle that will
play out now, the bad, mean, ugly people versus
the pretty, nice, good people. Who do you want
to win?"
So
what do we think has happened? Matty and Sugar
have a heart to heart. Sugar feels guilty that
she betrayed her ally Ace and decides to make an
alliance with Matty. While the two are fighting
their lives against the Kota tribe members now
on Fang (Corinne, Charlie and Randy), Matty
concocts a plan to get the idol out of the game.
He somehow convinces Sugar that in order to
preserve their standing in the game, she should
give him the idol and he will use it at Tribal
Council to bounce the votes back. However, Matty
decides to tell the others to vote Sugar
anyways, and uses the idol just to get rid of
it. Seems far fetched, but even if the above
hypothetical situation doesn't pan out, Sugar is
an easy vote off for New Fang.
