It All Depends on the
Pin-Up Girl
Episode Title Analysis: It All Depends on the
Pin-Up Girl
Sounds
like Sugar is a swing vote between two factions
Ace/Matty vs Ken/Crystal.
CBS Clues
#1
- Tensions rise at Fang when one castaway is
careless with the tribe’s rice supply. We
saw Ken, Ace and Matty being really
concerned about the rice supply. Sugar has
been eating up at Exile so it probably
doesn't involve. Our guess would be it
involves Crystal.
#2
- Paranoia prompts one castaway to scramble
for an alliance, alienating his tribe in the
process. Dan could be desperate to cling
onto someone or a group of some sort and the
tribe will notice this.
#3 - The tribes compete in a cutthroat round
of a childhood game in an effort to win a
lavish reward. Could it be a mini getaway
like on a boat? Childhood game... hopscotch?
jump rope?
#4 - Surprise letters from home bring even
the toughest castaways to tears. This
probably means Randy cries.
#5 - A shocking twist is revealed that gives
one castaway the chance to change the game
for the opposing tribe. Someone wins the
ability to give immunity to someone on the
opposing tribe. Is this like when John K.
gave immunity to Ami during Survivor 9:
Vanuatu?
#6 - A nail-biting challenge ensues when the
tribes learn that they’ll be battling for
individual immunity and will both vote out
one of their own at two separate Tribal
Councils. Double Tribal Council with the
possibility of saving yourself as well.
Reward Challenge - Kota
The
CBS press images title this challenge as
Elephant Eggs. We know that it is also based on
a popular children's game. It looks like it may
be keep away with one person trying to get the
opposing team's ball. Because we predict Sugar
being sent to Exile, we assume that Kota takes
this one home again.
The
log roll looks to be a tribal and individual
challenge. In the first square off, we see that
Ace and Marcus are competing against one
another. Sugar is shown in the background
drenched (probably loses her heat). The first
tribe to score X amount of points will move into
the individual heat where they can win
individual immunity as both tribes will be
heading to Tribal Council. That same winner we
believe, will have some sort of decision (most
likely in the form of granting immunity to
someone on the other tribe) if they secure
immunity.
(Left)
Sugar vs. Ken (Right) Kota tribe looks on as
Marcus battles Dan? At this point, it is
plausible that the tribes could face off within
their own tribes before facing off with people
from the other tribe for individual immunity.
Right
now, we are only able to exclude some
individuals from "winning" immunity.
In the
episode 7 promos,
we have the following people mentioned by
individuals as possible boot choices.
FANG:
Ace, Crystal, Ken, Sugar
KOTA:
Corinne, Dan, Marcus, Susie
Which
leaves us to believe either Matty on Fang or
Bob, Charlie or Randy on Kota wins immunity. We
feel that Bob will be out of contention for this
one. If that is the case, and falling in line
with our theory of bestowing immunity on
another, we are leaning towards a Randy win, and
making Matty immune as a result.
Dan
has been set up as the next to go on Kota for
several episodes now, and without immunity, his
heavy eating habits and his personality in
general will make him an easy target at Kota's
tribal. Add that to the fact that he is not as
big as an immunity threat as Susie and we have a
very likely boot possibility.
Susie,
what may be troubling for her is she hasn't
really bonded with her tribe, she doesn't have
much to say in terms of being on board with team
Kota, and for that reason, people may be afraid
that she will go back to Fang the moment they
merge. Also, it might not be a good idea to
mention that you were planning to vote out an
Onion to their face... the Onions have numbers,
and Susie does not.
Crystal
has been set up as the next to go on Fang as
seen in episode 6. Ace sees Sugar as an ally,
Matty sees Ken as an ally, and now, lately, we
have seen Sugar and Ken connect on a personal
level. It just seems like Crystal is out of the
loop in terms of the social aspects of the game,
and therefore, would be an easy target for Fang
at the next Tribal Council.
