  Episode 6 Prediction

He's a Snake, but He's My Snake

Episode Title Analysis: He's a Snake, but He's My Snake

We are making an educated guess and believing that Sugar will say that about her ally, Ace. It has been confirmed that she says this during an episode promo.

CBS Clues

#1 - One tribe makes a lucky catch that results in an exotic feast. At this point, we can't see Fang catching anything.

#2 - One castaway’s guilt drives her to tears on her stay at Exile.  We can really only see Sugar or Susie breaking down at this point.

#3 - In the wake of a tough loss, one castaway’s emotional outburst causes her to become a target. A tough loss would probably point to Fang, and it seems like she would be most affected by a loss--we don't see Kelly and Sugar getting too bogged down by the fact that they are losing.

#4 - One castaway’s large appetite has his tribe on edge as the camp’s rations begin to dwindle. Is food that scarce on Kota? Probably not, so judging from what was alluded to in Episode 4, Ken is eating more than his fair share.

#5 - The hidden immunity idol changes possession, rousing suspicion for one castaway. Sounds like Sugar offers the idol to Ace for his use. We aren't sure if this means they are about to go to Tribal Council.

Reward Challenge - Kota

Based on the CBS previews, there are two very physical challenges. Because we don't see the immunity idol, we believe this may be the reward challenge, which at this stage seems very close. Tribe members are paired up. We see Matty and Ken, Crystal and Ace, and Sugar and Kelly as pairs for Fang. Marcus and Dan, Randy and Robert and Corinne and Charlie are likely the pairs for Kota. At this point, it may just be a relay through the jungle.

Exile - A Female... Sugar most likely

Sugar seems to be the only one that would cry on Exile at this point.

Immunity Challenge - Kota

There's been a lot of coverage of the Fang tribe discussing strategy, usually an indication that that tribe will be heading to Tribal Council. In one scene, we have Ace and Sugar talking about exchanging the idol and another preview has shown Ace wanting to use Matty as a Benedict Arnold (traitor).

The immunity challenge looks like it involves carrying a snake either through an obstacle course or in a big circle. If it is in a big circle, the challenge would be over as soon as one tribe catches up to the other.

We have reason to believe that Fang will lose based on Crystal crying in this photo. She is not wearing the black outfit that we see her wearing in the web challenge. Compared to this photo, the sequence of events suggest that this event is separate from the web challenge. The promos revealed that someone will break down after a tough loss, so here it is--Crystal. She will be a boot target (misdirection), but her tribe will definitely be heading to Tribal Council.

Boot Prediction - Kelly; back up Sugar

JessicaFang's losing streak seems like it will continue and a female on the tribe will be on the way out. We should assume that Crystal is safe because of her "strength" which makes us believe that either Sugar or Kelly will be gone. The promos have been playing up a big blunder by Sugar giving Ace the idol. Jeff has also hinted that the idol was not used properly early on, so is this all misdirection or an event that will actually unfold? We believe that this will definitely bite her in the butt. She's been built up for quite some time now, but her trust in the snake will be her downfall.

Up until this point, I was confident that Sugar was making an entrance after her blunder...BUT, after seeing the preview in which we see a tearful Crystal, I'll have to go back to the drawing board before submitting my final answer.

KellyVoting out Kelly does seem to be the best move for Crystal/Ken and Matty if he is on board with them. Why would they want to stick with Kelly if it gives them a 1/4 shot of going home if they vote out the person with the idol? Ken described Kelly solely being used as a vote, and now, it seems like it is best to give her up in order to maintain the majority alliance. The trio will fake out Kelly into voting A/S, A/S will vote one of the other four, and the original Fang will vote unified against Kelly, guaranteeing that even if an idol is played, none of the three of them left will be going nowhere.

Is Crystal talking to Kelly as she is making that "Don't mistake my tears as a sign of weakness?" I can see Kelly making some offensive comment regarding Crystal's meltdown and she is none too happy. As we learned last episode with GC, after someone crosses Crystal, you are done, there is nothing left to do but to vote you out. If she does indeed get in a squabble with Kelly, I am sure she will run to Ken to try to get him to vote against Kelly(which would then be followed by Ken talking to Matty and Matty to A/S if he is with them). At that point, the idol would not be played and then it would definitely make sense for Matty to side with A/S because they have the idol in their possession, and therefore the power.

It really is down to the two blondes again, but which one?
We are going to go with Kelly this week!
