  Episode 3 Prediction

She Obviously is Post-Op!

Episode Title Analysis: She Obviously is Post-Op!

This likely points to a Fang win as the "She" referred to in the title must be Olympic champion, Crystal Cox. Perhaps a challenge doesn't go in favor of Kota, so someone on that tribe makes a comment on how Crystal is a bit larger than most women.

CBS Clues

#1 - Tension boils over as food runs dangerously low after some Castaways over-indulge in three meals a day. Sounds like this would point to Kota as we know from the first two episodes, that Fang is hardly eating. Kota at this point would have fish, rice, beans and corn but are probably not rationing it properly to survive.

#2 - One Castaway is tossed around like a rag doll during a Reward Challenge. Will her performance cause her tribe to toss this rag doll right out of Gabon? From the vidcaps, it looks like Paloma is the rag doll.

#3 One Castaway sets out to prove her strength on Exile Island. Will emotions caused by the recent death of a loved one prove to be an inspiration or a hindrance to her success? As revealed in her bio, Sugar's father recently passed away. She is sent to Exile which means Fang gets it together and finally wins a challenge, a reward one that is.

Reward Challenge - Fang

This appears to be the same challenge as we saw in Cook Islands. Whereas all players held onto poles at the same time in CI, we believe that the tribes will have heats. Each tribe will select who is holding onto a pole within each heat, and they will also decide who will be pulling them off as well.

From all the previews we have seen thus far, the tribes will be broken down like so:

Pole Holders: Ace, Paloma, Sugar / Dan, Ken, Susie

Grabbers: Charlie, Corinne/Jacquie?, Marcus, Robert, / Crystal, GC, Matty, Randy

Our guesses to the heats would be:

Ace vs. Dan - 1 point for Fang

Paloma vs. Susie/Kenn - 1 point for Fang

Sugar vs. Susie/Ken - Unknown

As pointed out by Survivor Phoenix, the Fang camp looks like they have a variety of new comfort items including blankets, pillows and a hammock. With all of the evidence and our predictions of the match ups, Fang should score their first win.

Exile - Sugar

Based on CBS Clue #3 (above).

Immunity Challenge - Fang

The immunity challenge involves a slip and slide component. We can see all members of Fang participate and have seen shots of Corinne, Jacquie, Kelly, Bob and a shirtless male as well. After sliding down the hill, they must run up back to their tribe and probably allow the next person on the tribe go. We don't know the exact details of this challenge and it probably will be a bit more complex than just a relay. There is also a apparatus of some sort behind each tribe which will likely come into play.

We will guess Fang as the victor based on our boot prediction for the week.

Boot Prediction - Paloma

PalomaHer first two edits last week have been anything but favorable and this is probably where Jeff comes in and says that he doesn't think she has what it takes to make it out there. Clearly, she is the weakest woman on Kota sitting out in the challenges or being left to work on the puzzle. Combine that with her negative comments regarding the "unity" of tribe (despite it mainly being directed toward disliking Ace) and we have your Episode 3 boot.

DannyHis boot is inevitable--stepping down from the post of leader just spells out doom. Randy has already described him as the cancer of the tribe. The only thing he has going for him is a possible core alliance on Fang.

Randy

He doesn't have numbers on his side, nor does Dan, but what Dan has, Randy lacks which is the physical strength Fang desperately needs to preserve on their tribe. Still, we think for the most part he will be safe this week.
