Want to See the Elephant Dung?

Episode Title Analysis: Want to See the Elephant Dung?

More likely than not, the episode title will have no bearing on who will actually get the boot this episode. We assume that it will be a quote that one of the Survivors will say.

CBS Clues

No clues have been available at this time.

Tribal Breakdown

Based on evidence of the Survivors wearing colored buffs, the tribal breakdown has been established here. The tribe names are Fang and Kota. As mentioned previously, the tribes will be selected via a schoolyard pick'em which may explain why one tribe looks more physically fit than the "older" tribe. As revealed in the EW.com video, the Survivors will not have to pick alternating men and women.

Reward Challenge - Kota Wins, Dan and Ace win individual immunity

No evidence has supported the existence of a reward challenge, however, it looks like the Survivors upon receiving their tribal assignments have some incentive to race down a hill. It appears that the first tribe that makes it to their mat will win a bag of rice. It has also been revealed that the first person from each tribe that gets to the mat will also have immunity at their first trip to Tribal Council.

Exile - Unprobable

There has been no evidence that exile will start the first episode, however, with a two-hour long episode, it is very possible that someone will get exiled in which we will be exposed to the twist of the season: the Survivor exiled will either get an instant comfort (which should get progressively better as the game goes on, so it may start off with an apple and end with a car) or receive a clue to the whereabouts of the hidden immunity idol. On day 1 of filming, it has been revealed that Exile has not been completed so we may not see it in the first episode afterall.

Immunity Challenge - Kota  Wins

TV Guide's preview has revealed the structure of the first immunity challenge. Six Survivors will start off tied together and must traverse an obstacle course: run down a hill, charge through a swamp, go over an A-frame, crawl under and over posts, and dig up puzzle pieces in addition to digging a hole large enough to get their entire tribe under a gate. The puzzles pieces are then handed off to the other three members of the tribe, and they must put together an image of their tribal flag.

For Kota: we have Ace, Charlie, Corinne, Jacque, Kelly and Marcus running the course.

For Fang: we have Crystal, Danny, GC, Ken, Matty, Michelle

While both tribes appear neck and neck, the appearance of the immunity idol at Fang (bottom left image) has us believing that they will take home the first immunity challenge.

Boot Prediction - Gillian? Michelle?

With Fang safe at the first Tribal Council, someone on Kota will bite the dust. Viewing the image below, you will see five members of Kota: Crystal, Danny, GC, Matty and Randy. This is a different challenge as Randy did not previously participate in the 6 member part of the immunity challenge discussed above. If this is from a later immunity challenge, this means that Gillian, Ken, Michelle and Susie are most at risk.

With scenes that have shown Susie bonding with Ken, and Susie also bonding with Crystal, there is probably a good chance that both of them will be safe at the vote.

GillianThat leaves our boot prediction between Gillian, the oldest woman of the tribe who can be seen as a physical liability. Kota will likely feel outmatched by Fang's strength so getting rid of the oldest person makes the most sense for their tribe.

MichelleMichelle, who describes herself as "standing out" and also assessed by Jeff Probst as someone needing to be brought in by a group or losing the game is also at risk. She may have an edge on Gillian physically, but if Gillian manages to rally the older people in her tribe, Michelle may be the one to go. With the three older people on the tribe, it wouldn't be a good idea to get the oldest, because once they are gone, you are next.
