KOTA
Charlie
Again,
the editing has practically left Charlie out of
the fray.
Corinne
Of the
things they did show from her, they decided to
highlight her disgust over how much Dan has been
eating on the tribe.
Dan
His
social game is slipping. It is funny that he is
completely unaware how eating extra portions
could be detrimental to his position on the
tribe. There was also some conflict even after
winning the reward. Perhaps the tribe is living
too well off that it will hurt them somehow
later.
Marcus
He
continues to pimp up how well his tribe is
doing, but is it really necessary to have him
give these one liners every episode? Hmm...
Randy
He's
really into wiggling his way into the Kota
alliance, which may involve him backing out from
his alliance with Dan and Susie. Obviously, this
was shown to show that he is flexible within the
game, and that he doesn't necessarily hold up
his promises either.
Robert (Bob)
He
seemed relentless when catching the turtle, a
sign of how he will play this game later on?
Also, he was the one to comment on how he has
been splitting rations with Susie while dan is
more than happy to eat more than his share.
Susie
She
was just excited about eating the turtle gumbo
soup in the jungle of Africa. Still practically
invisible this season.
FANG
Ace
The
guy is doing everything he can to gain control
on Fang (even though he never truly had control
on Kota). We see him as very sly this past
episode, recruiting Matty as a Benedict Arnold.
He also seems to be stringing along Sugar and
we've seen some hints that she doesn't quite eat
up everything he says or does. He tried to
assume a leadership position during the immunity
challenge, but ultimately, it cost his tribe
another few days of safety.
Crystal
Her
game is very volatile. In the past couple of
episodes, she has turned against her tribe mates
for offending her one way or another. Trying to
go back and explain her reason for breaking down
after the challenge is characteristic of someone
who will NOT win this game.
Jessica "Sugar"
She is
slowly cracking, but unlike Crystal, her
emotions though noticeable to everyone, are of
the positive kind. She cried for feeling guilty
that she is eating all this fruit, she cried for
missing family, etc. It was interesting to see
her get her idol back, and shows that Ace
doesn't completely control her every action. She
may work out better with Ken. That alliance
would be more of a collaborative one, whereas
the one she has with Ace is her following his
every command.
Kelly
Feisty, says it like it is, and is not afraid
to. This style of gameplay has worked before,
but the people in her tribe are too sensitive to
let her run her mouth.
Ken
As the
season progresses, we do see his true love of
Survivor come out. Strategizing with Sugar was a
good move for him because he can't see himself
trusting Ace at all. Convincing her to take back
the idol would also be beneficial to his game.
They keep mentioning on the show and insider
that he is the weakest on the tribe, but as we
saw in the immunity challenge, he has a lot to
offer, and like he said preseason, he'll be
underestimated.
Matty
Plain
and simple, the guy wants to win for his
girlfriend. That is pretty warm, and heartfelt
and we can see that he really will follow
through with his promise to stick to Ace until
the merge (he mentioned there is no way he would
go against his word if he swore on his
girlfriend's name). We are starting to see Matty
as a silent strategist, and not necessarily
going along with the group decisions but
actually being the one that makes them.
